Contact & Support

Need a hand? This page is the fastest route to an answer — whether that’s a help article you can read right now or a reply from a real person.

The quickest answers are already written. Most questions are covered in the Help center, the FAQ, and the Glossary. If you’re stuck on what a result means, start with Understanding your results.

Email us

For anything the docs don’t cover — a problem, a question, a request, or feedback:

support@retirerange.com

RetireRange is run by a small team, and a real person reads every message. We aim to reply within a few days. There’s no phone line or live chat; email is the way to reach us, and it means your question gets a considered answer rather than a scripted one.

What do you need help with?

"How does this feature work?"
Almost certainly answered already. Browse the Help center — there’s a page for every tab and every major decision (Social Security, Roth conversions, RMDs, taxes, the health-insurance bridge, and more). Still unclear after reading? Email us and point to the page — that also tells us where the docs need to be better.

Billing, payment, or changing your plan.
See Managing your subscription for how the trial, monthly/annual plans, and cancellation work. You can start, switch, or cancel your plan from your account page at any time. If something looks wrong with a charge, email us with the date and amount and we’ll sort it out.

Cancelling.
You can cancel anytime from your account page — no fees, and your access runs through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Details in Managing your subscription.

Refunds.
The 30-day free trial is your risk-free window — you’re only charged if you choose to continue. For anything beyond that, see the Terms of Use; if you think your situation warrants it, email us and we’ll take a look.

Report a bug or something that looks wrong.
Email us with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead (see Help us help you below). Bug reports genuinely make the product better — thank you for sending them.

Request a feature.
We’d like to hear it. Tell us what you’re trying to accomplish, not just the feature you have in mind — the underlying goal often points to the best solution.

Delete your account, or make a privacy request.
To delete your account and associated data, or to exercise a data right (access, correction, deletion, export), email us and we’ll handle it as described in the Privacy Policy.

Report a security issue.
If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability, please email us directly rather than posting it publicly, and we’ll respond promptly. We appreciate responsible disclosure.

One thing we can’t do: give you financial advice

We’re happy to explain how any part of RetireRange works, what a number means, or how the model treats a particular decision. But RetireRange is an educational tool, not a financial advisor — and neither is our support inbox. We can’t tell you when you should claim Social Security, whether you should do a Roth conversion, or whether your plan is "safe." Those are judgment calls for you, ideally with a qualified financial planner who knows your full situation. What we can do is help you use the tool to explore them clearly. See Limitations.

Help us help you

A few details in your first email usually save a round-trip:

  • What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
  • Which browser and device you’re using (e.g., Chrome on Windows, Safari on iPhone).
  • A screenshot, if something looks visibly wrong — it’s often worth a paragraph.

Please don’t send sensitive information. We never need your password, and we don’t need your account balances or other private figures to help with most issues — your simulations run in your browser, not in our inbox. Share only what’s necessary to describe the problem.
